looks like all your other stuff. He looks so uncomfortable, I would change his pose. It makes me uncorfortable looking at him sitting like that. Otherwise good job.

I don't think that it looks like all of his other stuff...if you look at his website, it is obvious that his style is versatile and full of variety. Anyway, I love this piece! Keep up the good work.

This is a really awesome piece caleb, your pictures are very intresting. oh yeah i think anonymous is right, this picture would be so much better if Poe, the psychotic master of horror stories was looking a little bit more comfortable in a fluffy arm chair. Im being sarcastic by the way.Its great.

Thanks for the crits and comments- I drew Poe to look uncomfortable and uneasy on purpose- In this image he is in the middle of writing "The Raven" when a Raven lands on his side table- kindv'e creepy. So, if this image and Poe's posture/pose makes you feel uncomfortable then I've suceeded in my illustration.

Yeah whatever. "You chose to draw it that way." Funny how you only mentioned that AFTER people pointed that out. And just how many times did you have to draw that hand??!!

Yo anonymous tries to be smart but has no balls to say his/her name. I am sure that if Caleb wanted to draw the fugure more comfortable he would. He could even draw poe kicking anonymous ass. hahahahaha. If you want to be an ass just say your name you closet fag......

12:14 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

I am sure he could draw the "fugure" more comfotable too, but that is not the point and neither is the one on your head. I keep myself anonymous so everyone doesn't have to know that I am your mom Alekos!! And let me get this straight. If I "want to be an ass I should say my name"?? How does that make sense?? Great comments from someone so rude they don't even introduce their girlfriend when they are standing right there!

...ASS!

Whatever, man/woman this blog is created for Constructive criticism, I have no idea who you are. My point is that you can say your name when commenting on this site. Well the Mom jokes are like we are 5 years old. I am not going to waste my time anymore with your crap. Have fun closet fag. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

What the? If the Mom jokes are for 5 year olds, then how old do you have to be for the Fag jokes you like so much??? I think you are projecting your own insecurities and tendencies by constantly calling others "closet fags". Or is it that you are openly gay and have a disdain for those who are not "out" like you?? Hmmmm................ . Why don't you just make your own crit about the work and stop worrying what others are saying. Does Caleb really need to be protected by some Applebee's table jockey?? Shut up and bring me a clean spoon!

Oh yeah. Caleb, I think you could use some contrast between your values on Poe. It is a bit "middle gray".

Obviously you know me and you don't have the balls to tell me who you are, If you know me, you know very well that you would never say all this shit to my face, because i would fuck you up. I worked at applebees because my daddy didn't pay for my school you can call me anything you want. closet fag, gay and whatever else come into your head, but the punch line is that you are a PUSSY and after all these words you still stay anonymous, Whatever princess.

Dear Anonymous little princess,

I have a few words for you to ponder on...i dont think Alex worries about what others say but it is you who does since you keep commenting back. Moreover, if you had constructive critisicm to offer no one would be on your case but since you chose to be an amateur at doing so...well then...accept the pounding gracefully. This brings me to the point where i conclude that you my dear anonymous are the insecure one, since you are still hiding behind this name..hmmm..scared...or cant you draw so we wont take you all that seriously...or do you have limitations in communication or are you bitter that some got real jobs and you not, awww let's not cry now. Any being the case, you are not one to talk about insecurities nor homo's since we all know who is and who isnt..my friend...
Anyway this has dragged on so...HEY YOU...its time you bring me that brush and canvas so i can paint your sorry excuse for a person, lame ass outta this frame.

I agree with Santy, and I also agree with Ted! hehe
Not everyone is going to like all we do, but we don't have to start arguing like this.
