Digital watercolor rendering

20 June, 2007

Hi Guys I have been trying to perfect the digital watercolor technique. this technique is really fast and it helps a lot in my job. Please give some comments about it what looks good or not. Does it look like real watercolor or it still needs work. Does it flow? Please help and enjoy the painting.

Hey Alex! It's amazing that this is digital because it has a real "hand made" look to it... I think it might be good to try a version with stronger lighting to force some more depth but I'm not expert. Keep them up! Are these for work?

Hi Dunc, yeah this is for work the linework is handdrawn and th epainting digital. I lightened the piece a lot for printing purposes. It's really hard for me I create these from Autocad drawings and materials that they provide me with. It's a new and fun experience. Thanks for the comment.
